Linville Competes in Kentucky Triple Crown with Spring Nationals Tour
1(April 19, 2014) The team returned to action over the weekend as they entered a tripleheader in Kentucky with Ray Cook's Old Man's Garage (OMG) Spring Nationals presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour.

On Thursday night a $4,000-to-win event was held at 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky) as thirty-two Super Late Model filled the pit area for the event. With the top eight qualifiers locking into the feature Linville fail short of the mark, and had to run a b-main, where he finished third to earn the thirteenth starting position in the 40 lap main event. In the feature, despite passing being difficult Dustin advanced four spots to a twelfth place finish at the checkered flag.

Friday night took the team closer to familiar territory as a $4,000-to-win event was contested at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky). A talent-laden field of twenty-seven entries were on hand for the event, and the evening began with Dustin setting the overall fast time with a 13.147 second lap around the 3/8 mile oval. His qualifying effort locked him into the pole position for the 40 lap finale, with Mike Marlar alongside. As the feature went green it was Linville who jumped to the race lead with Marlar in tow. Linville set the pace for the next eight circuits before slight contact with the outside wall in turn four allowed Marlar to get by on the inside. After a hard-fought battle at the front of the back for the remainder of the event, Dustin crossed the finish line in fourth behind race winner Mike Marlar, Eric Wells, and Gregg Satterlee.

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky), as a stout field of thirty-seven entries assembled on the 1/2 mile oval for the 38th Annual Spring 50. The Spring Nationals tour would sanction the $5,000-to-win program, and qualifying sixth in his group Dustin raced to the win in the heat race to lock in the seventh starting position for the feature. Linville settled back to twelfth early in the 50 lap main event, before wheeling his #d8 Swartz Race Cars/Bullock Race Engines Super Late Model back to a solid fourth place finish behind race winner Darrell Lanigan, Jimmy Owens, and Gregg Satterlee.

Dustin Linville Picks Up First Victory of 2014 Season at Ponderosa Speedway
1(April 5, 2014) Dustin went to Victory Lane for the first time in 2014 after the team made an unannounced trip to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Saturday evening for the track's season opening event.

Linville was the top qualifier and went on to win the first heat race, positioning him on the pole for the 25 lap main event. When the feature went green, the Rooster bolted to the race lead immediately and began to pull away. By lap ten of the affair the Bryantsville, Kentucky ace had put all but the second through fifth place competitors a lap down. But disaster would strike for Dustin on lap sixteen when contact with a slower car sent his #D8 Johnny Maco's Electric/Paul Benton Auto Body/Swartz Race Car/Bullock Race Engines powered Super Late Model into a spin in turn three. Linville would restart as the last car on the lead lap in fifth, but wouldn't remain there for long as the field came back to green and Dustin regained the top spot just one circuit later. Linville lead the closing laps to score the win over Gary Yeager, Chris Johnson, Glen Hounshell Jr., and Dion Benningfield.
