Fifteen Super Late Models converged on the famed, 1/2-mile oval, and a third place finish in his preliminary heat race locked Dustin into the 30-lap main event.

Linville took control on lap-three of the feature and began to build a commanding advantage over his nearest competitor. Dustin continued to pull away from the field and looked to be on his way to a $1,200 payday. Unfortunately, disaster struck with just three laps to when a mechanical failure brought his night to a disappointing early end.

Rain Halts Spring Nationals Action at 201 and Ponderosa
1(April 4th, 2015) Dustin Linville set out to enter a trio of events in his home-state over the weekend. The Old Man's Garage (OMG) Spring Nationals tour sanctioned a tripleheader across three tracks in Kentucky over Easter weekend.

Action kicked off on Thursday evening with the 2nd Annual Johnny Salyer Memorial at 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky). A stout field of thirty Super Late Models registered for the event, and Dustin posted the third fastest lap in qualifying to lock into the redraw for the Dash. Linville drew the fifth starting spot for the Dash before racing his way to a third place finish, which locked him into the third spot on the grid for the 40-lap finale. Unfortunately, a steady rain began falling just as the field took the green flag, forcing officials to postpone the balance of the program. The $4,000-to-win feature event was re-scheduled for September 3rd.

Friday nights, $4,000-to-win event at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky), and Saturday nights, $5,000-to-win program at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) both fell victim to Mother Nature.
