Dustin would have issues with his steering as they unloaded the d8 machine. Crews would go to work and get the steering rack changed but would miss hot laps but would get it in just in time to roll out for the heat. Dustin would start outside of row one and grab the lead on the top side and never look back as he would cruise to the win.

Now that the team was able to sit down and regroup it was time for the main event where Dustin again would start on that outside pole position. He should use that to his advantage again as "The Rooster" would cruise to the checkers and the $2,000 victory.

WORLD 100; Next Stop For Dustin Linville
(September 10th-12th, 2015) Dustin "The Rooster" Linville headed to Big E, Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, OH) for the 45th Annual WORLD 100 paying $48,000 to win Saturday night. There were also preliminary nights Thursday and Friday which paid $5,000 to win. Brendon Bauman Photos

Thursday night Dustin had his Swartz Race Car tuned up for the famed half mile as he would 17.243 which was fast enough for fourteenth out of the one hundred and six cars entered. Dustin would be the fastest in his group but due to the Eldora invert Dustin would line up in the fourth in heat nine of the night. Dustin would make up one spot in the heat race as he would cross the line third and punch his ticket for the main event. After a few battle scars from the heat race Dustin decided to drop to the back of the main event and a few laps later bring the car to the pits and check things over to prepare for the rest of the weekend.

Friday the skies would open and the rain would fall. Track crew worked hard to try and get the racing surface suitable for racing but Mother Nature wouldn’t have it as they were forced to postpone Friday's portion to Saturday morning. The start was delayed a little bit on Saturday but they would get things rolling as Dustin would lay down a lap of 15.743 in qualifying that was good enough for forty-seventh out of the one hundred and eight that were registered for action. That would place Dustin second in his group for Qualifying and he would roll off third in his heat. Dustin again would make up some ground in his heat as he did on Thursday and this time crossed the line second. Midafternoon Saturday it was now time for the A-Main events from the Friday portion. Dustin would start eleventh in the feature and were he would finish eighth in the $5,000 to win event. RacePix Photography - Bruce Carroll

As Saturday was already a busy day was now time to put everything that you had figured out in the last two nights to the test and see who had what it took to win the 45th Annual WORLD 100. Dustin would have a great starting spot in his heat race; he would start on the point and lead the field to green. There were some very fast cars in Dustin's heat and he would struggle to hold on to the top spot as he began to slip the wrong way through the field. As the checkers waived Dustin crossed the line seventh. Not with the heat race performance that he was hoping for Dustin would find himself in the B-Main where he also wouldn't make it into a transfer spot but would finish second in the 5 lap B-Main scramble for the non-qualifiers.

Friday night's event would also be paying $3,000 to win as twenty-four other competitors made the trip also. Dustin would continue where he left off Thursday night with setting fast time with a lap of 13.726. The field was then split into three heat races with Dustin in the first one where he would pick up the win.

Feature cars were now rolling trackside and Dustin would be the first car to roll thru the gates as he would start from the pole position. Michael Chilton would line up to his outside as the field would take the green. "The Rooster" jumped out to an early lead but would be slowed with only 4 laps being scored. On the only restart of the race Dustin would expand his lead and never look back as he would park his #d8 Super Late Model in victory lane for the second night in a row.
