Traveling to Mountain Motorsports Park (Isom, Ky.) on Friday, Linville locked in to the Southern All Star Racing Series main event via Time Trials.
Starting the $4,000-to-win feature in second, Dustin briefly took the lead from Brandon Fouts in the 40-lapper, only to have a caution flag turn back his pass for the top spot. Linville went on to finish second behind Fouts at the checkers, with Josh Putname, Steve Stollings, and Raymond Nichols rounding out the Top-5.
Following the Southern All Star Racing Series to Richmond (Ky.) Raceway on Saturday, Linville locked into the tenth starting spot on the grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Advancing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Dustin placed ninth in the final rundown.
