Behind the wheel of the Dalton Whitt-owned No. D8 Swartz Car, Dustin Linville visited Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday afternoon for the 41st annual General Tire Dirt Track World Championship. With Mother Nature condensing the event into a one-day show, Dustin fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a fourth-place finish. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Linville locked into the 20th-starting position for the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship. (Chris Anderson photo)
After wheeling his way up to 13th and challenging for a Top-10 run, Dustin tagged the wall that resulted in an early exit.
