Linville Returns to Lucas Oil Competion

The nation's premier tour for Super Late Models invade Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. on Friday night. Twenty-seven drivers registered for the 15th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Linville finished fifth in his preliminary heat race, locking him into the thirteenth spot on the feature grid. Dustin rans as high as third in the 50-lap main event before a late-race incident ultimately resulted in a 24th-place finish in the final rundown.

On Saturday night, the action shifted to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. A field of thirty Super Late Models assembled for the Bob Miller Memorial - Presented by Pepsi. Linville earned a starting spot in the 50-lap feature via a second-place finish in the b-main. After starting eighteenth, Dustin advanced a few positions before retiring to a 22nd-place finish.

The Schaeffer's Oil Iron Man Series invaded Tennessee's Action Track with a $3,000 winner's prize up for grabs. Linville qualified fastest in his group of Time Trials to earning a starting spot in the 30-lap main event. Dustin went on to a solid third-place finish at the checkered flag behind race winner Chase King, and Robby Moses. David Crabtree and Austin Neely completed the top-five finishers.

Top Five in Fred Dillow Memorial at Portsmouth

A strong field of twenty-five Super Late Models were on hand for the 25th annual Fred Dillow Memorial. The historic event boasted a $6,083 winner's prize. Linville qualified second overall, earning him a spot in the dash. He went on to finish fifth in the dash to lock into the fifth starting spot on the feature grid. During the 40-lap finale, Dustin was charging for second when a brush with the wall resulted in a fifth-place finish at the checkered flag.

Earlier in the weekend, the team made a stop at Moler Raceway Park for the annual Ike Moler Memorial. Battling for a $5,000 top prize, Linville started the night with a convincing heat race win, positioning him in seventh on the starting grid for the feature. Dustin ran as high as third at time in the main event before settling to seventh-place finish in the final rundown.
