Linville tops Crate Late Model field at Richmond Raceway

Pulling double duty on Saturday afternoon, Dustin Linville invaded Richmond Raceway (Richmond, Ky.) for the Finn Watson Memorial.

In Southern All Stars competition, Linville qualified fifth-quickest before finishing fourth in his heat race. For the $7,500-to-win main event, Dustin was running seventh when electrical issues forced him to pull pit-side.

For the Crate Late Model portion of the event, Dustin was fastest in time trials and won his heat race which put him on the point for the 20-lap main event. After briefly losing the lead on the initial start, Linville retook the lead on lap 11 to collect the $1,200 payday.
