Linville storms to Top-5 finish in Butterball Memorial at Richmond Raceway
Heading back to Richmond (Ky.) Raceway on Friday afternoon, Dustin Linville was one of 31 Ultimate Heart of America Series entries signed in for the 36th running of the Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial.
Following the ninth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Linville recorded a sixth-place finish in his heat which placed him in a B-Main on Saturday.
For Saturday's $20,059-to-win finale, Dustin was able to earn the 19th-place starting position after a fourth-place finish in his B-Main. Storming through the field in the 59-lap feature, Linville went from 19th-to-5th to land a Top-5 outing. He followed Ricky Weiss, Tyler Carpenter, James Rice, and Ross Bailes to the checkered flag.
