Linville runner-up in Spring Fling at Lake Cumberland with American All-Star Series
With the Ultimate Heart of American opener rained out, Dustin Linville pulled out his Crate Late Model and invaded Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) on Saturday afternoon for the $5,000-to-win Spring Fling.
Qualifying fourth-fastest out 29 American All-Star Series entries, Linville earned a starting spot on the second-row after finishing third in the dash. In the 50-lap main event, Dustin quickly moved into second-place and battled for the lead but ultimately came up with a runner-up finish. He trailed race-winner Hayden Cardwell while Skylar Marlar completed the podium.
